What I don't really understand is why well-meaning democracies sometimes feel a need to ban speech that is not a direct incitement to violence. Like the potential banning of the word Nazi in Israel, or France charging Brigitte Bardot with a crime...You don't understand it because your country has never been under Nazi-Fascists occupation. |
