The Dalai Lama's take on this is the best approach I've seen yet.Having to terminate an unplanned pregnancy is a tragic choice. Nobody wants to have to end a life. You do have to bear in mind that in getting through difficult circumstances where a woman could not bring a child into, the opportunity to improve the woman's situation and bring an child into a better world is probably the best choice that can be made. These choices are usually seen to be best long term. |
