You're not in New Jersey. Do you know exactly what is happening on the ground there? Do you even know what FEMA does? You wouldn't be saying that if you did. Your homeowners insurance gets ypur claim. From there, FEMA can fill gaps with loans and grants. They most work with localities on infrastructure rebuilding and first responders. They are not driving around with trucks full of money.

Nor are they doing trailers. They're putting people up in hotels until claims are processed and rebuilding is completed. From what I hear, people are satisfied with how this is going. It's the whiners like you that have little or no damage beyond several days in the dark that are making themselves look bad.
