Septa #823

Septa trolley coach 823 has been junked and is being used as a part donor.. I don't know what happened to it to cause this.

So Septa is either short on vehicles or operators for the (3) Trackless lines , each day,

The entire system has troubles

So are we at NYCT.

We have plenty of potential candidates available from Civil Service exam lists. But once classes start there are many drop outs once they find out what the job entails. As time goes on right into them being out there on their own more drop out. In the final count, NYCT has well over half of them leave from the first day to the first year.

I recall hearing about a class of NYCTA conductors who were told during the morning session about the duties and requirements of the job. The class broke for lunch and after the lunch break was over most of the candidates did not return.

Others are saying Coach #823 will not be scrapped, instead it was hit by lightening ,a major part is on the way. So I will update this as soon as I get good information.:(:(
