Let's start small with the cutaways:

Cap Cod Regional Transit Authority Dorado Aerotechs in Hyannis

Tempe Orbit buses at Tempe Transit Center

Ride On 5108(Wheaton Station)

rushbus 127 at Trevose Station, Bucks County, PA

Now to the EZ Riders, my least favorite Dorado model:

CT Transit 9900

Valley Metro 4160 on Priest Drive (more Valley Metro pics coming soon!)

Onward to the Transmark REs!

SEPTA 4550 (now running out of Frontier District) on the Ardmore Private Busway

Capital Area Transit 2120 by Harrisburg Train Station

Las Vegas City Ride 2935 at the soon-to-be-gone Downtown Transportation Center

Cap Cod Breeze in Hyannis, Massachusetts

Upgrading to the Axess (I really like this bus):

Phoenix International Airport 663 at Washington and 44th Streets

Soon to be built by El Dorado in partnership with Alexander-Dennis:

Las Vegas RTC 248 at Southern Strip Transfer Terminal (this bus was not built by El Dorado, however).

And, of course, there are more models that I haven't managed to snap a picture of!

El Dorado has to be one of the most diverse bus manufacturers out there, meeting a variety of transportation needs. It's kinda like how Orion was back in the day. It's just too bad that agencies tend to not purchase Dorados - at least outside of the cutaways.

I wonder if it's because ElDorado National doesn't market itself to those companies (except of course, with the double-deckers).

I actually don't mind the EZ Rider - I like it better than the silly-looking Opus.

Re: the first pic, that combo (Aerotech passenger compartment mated w/ Ford E-450 Super Duty diesel chassis) is the standard vehicle of choice here in Broward County for the Community Bus Services. (the way that works, most cities in Broward County run community routes using mostly cutaways that supplement the fixed route service provided by BCt. In the past, the cities ran the whole deal, buying buses, setting routes, running the routes etc., but in recent years, BCt has taken over the management functions (even buying the buses, so the buses now have county license tags, where they used to have city tags). I think the cities actually provide the drivers (either in-house or via a contractor). A couple of cities have different buses (one city in the northern part of the county has Goshens (I think), while the city of Miramar a few years ago purchased a couple of BlueBird CS. After one burned to a crisp, they went back to Aerotechs for their next order LOL (the surviving BB is still running).

I'm the inverse - Opus just looks, sounds, and feels like a real bus in comparison...

I must agree with you. I feel the Opus is a more solid bus than the EZ Rider. However, I have yet to pass judgement on the EZ Rider II. Depending on whether or not Princeton University allows the public on its Tiger Transit service, I may ride one soon.
