Umm, I know that.If you notice the post about the general overhauled coaches, you'll see the post mentioned a new and quiet engine. Nobody with average hearing would ever call a Series 50 quiet. So I supposed that maybe the MTA was gradually introducing the ISL to their diesel-hydraulic fleet (to coin a phrase used to refer to trains with planetary-gear hydraulic transmissions). Yes, I'm in the state of washington...I also lived in NYC for approximately 2 years back in 2004-2005. I rode bus 5770 and took pictures of it (unfortunately, not very good ones).
