Umm, I know that.

If you notice the post about the general overhauled coaches, you'll see the post mentioned a new and quiet engine.

Nobody with average hearing would ever call a Series 50 quiet.

So I supposed that maybe the MTA was gradually introducing the ISL to their diesel-hydraulic fleet (to coin a phrase used to refer to trains with planetary-gear hydraulic transmissions).
