It makes sense, but I'm not sure it would happen assuming they'd use the same system used by NYCTA. My understanding is that the inventory database used by the TA could not accomodate 5-character fleet numbers. The TA learned of this shortcoming back in '93 which is why they had to renumber the first of the '93 Orion Vs.
