"the transit museum primarily displays only subway cars that are dead in the water"That's not true, the Bu's and Arnines are at the TM and those can run. I believe the reason there are trains stored at Corona or 207th is mainly there isn't enough room in the museum to store all the trains. If there was another site for the TM then they could probably store all the trains over 2 museum sites. Examples mainly the Nassau line from Bowery to Canal or the lower level of 9th Av on the West End line. |
