Posted by Chicago44 on Tue Jan 11 09:59:37 2022 Did NYC Transit lease 150 Greyhound MCI 5850-5949 (150) buses right after the Grumman Flexible buses were taken off the streets in 1984.If so, how many were sent to Castleton & Yukon Depots or were they leased before the Grumman Flexible buses were taken off the streets, if they weren't released before or for a little while after the Grumman Flexible buses were taken off the streets, what express buses were used for Staten Island service. Finally, I did see some pictures of some lease buses 01115 & 01122, did NYC Transit lease these buses after the Grumman Flexible buses were taken off the streets or before that, if so, how many did Castleton & Yukon Depots receive, where were they lease from, what were there numbers & how many were lease. If anyone out there have pictures of these lease Greyhound & GMC buses that NYC Transit use, please post them or if there is a website, please post that up along with MCI 5950 that was lease from Academy Tours. |
