Think about it. Imagine the current Bx29 route path being extended via Bartow Ave, Edson Ave (SB)/Ely Ave & Givan Ave (NB), Baychester Ave, etc. to Wakefield.

The diversion via Cardinal Spellman High School would also serve the Edenwald Houses, another major trip generator on this segment of the route.

The amount of people who would use the Bx29 between City Island, Pelham Bay Park Station, Bay Plaza Shopping Center, the Baychester Ave Station, and the Edenwald Houses would justify the operation of 24-hour bus service, something the people of northern Bronx have been requesting for a long time.
