A combination of the two corridors would increase seat turnover, and therefore be more efficient and productive.Aside from the fact that this is the opposite of true (Shorter routes tend to have higher efficiency numbers because by definition, everyone gets off at the terminal), you could use whatever logic you're attempting to use to justify combining any two random routes that share a common terminal. Why do those particular corridors need to be combined? And would operate all times. Not necessarily. They could always short-turn the overnight Bx29 at PBP...just look at how the Bx24 operates overnight. |
