Posted by Gold_12th on Sat May 17 11:54:59 2014 Jones Beach 2014 Summer ServiceService to Jones Beach via the n87 from Hicksville and the NON-STOP n88 from Freeport Nice Bus offers 2 routes to Jones Beach beginning Memorial Day Weekend, 2014. 1. The Non-stop n88 departing from Freeport LIRR station to the Jones Beach State Park's two Bathhouses and the Central Mall. 2. Weekend Service Only. Daily service begins June 23rd. 3. Departure times from Jones Beach denotes a West Bathhouse departure. 4. Buses departing from Freeport LIRR station may be held at the discretion of supervisors, to enable transfers arriving from LIRR trains. 5. Bus Service runs rain or shine The n87 service begins Monday June 23rd, departing from Hicksville LIRR to Jones Beach Bathhouses and Central Mall, with stops at Newbridge Road, East Meadow, and Wantagh. After Wantagh, the n87 services Freeport and then on to the beach. Weekend-Only service from Freeport begins Saturday, May 24th, Memorial Day Weekend thru June 23th. Daily service from both Freeport and Hicksville starts on Monday June 23rd, and runs thru Labor Day, September 1st. The one-way cash fare is $2.25. The MetroCard and NICE GOMOBILE app fare is $2.50.
