Because as I've operated my SBS bus down Nostrand Avenue, I'll pass a train-like local pack of buses, loaded with passengers, as a I fly by with a fully seated artic (and you can see the facial expression of those on the local bus as they finally see these +Selects flying by). This is because of these local buses have left 10-15 minutes before me (at Flushing Avenue), and by the time I get to Fulton to handle the big load, there's none there; the local buses have taken up the load since they didn't see a 'LIMITED' in sight (basically no one wants to wait, or afraid to learn the new system). Those blue lights would definitely help on Nostrand or Rogers Avenues, to distict express from local. |
