The women sit in the back because they have been brainwashed to feel inferior.

You speak from experience? It's custom that men and women stay separate in public spaces. Just like it's custom that during a marriage ceremony, the groom's family sits on one side, and the bride's family on the other. It has nothing to do with inferiority. The women are in the back because the seats face forward, and the men can't be staring at women like that.
