It's an unnecessary duplication of service; there are other routes within 1/2 mile of every one of the 54's stops north of Brielle that go to the mall via areas where PEOPLE live, not squirrels. None of the areas you're proposing to serve lacks service, either. What you lose, though, is the connection from Great Kills to Seaview and Wagner HS. If not for the school, the 54 would have no purpose. |
