As I stated previously, people knew there would be cuts, but the media never specifically listed all the cuts, nor did the the public notices on the buses describe the cuts but just gave a brief general description saying the following routes would be discontinued or the following routes would be restructured or that service was being changed. You needed to go to the internet to know what was happening.

Also there was one sign for all Citywide changes. Had they at least done it by borough before the hearings the way it way posted at the post stops, people would have had a chance of knowing what was going to happen.

Also, you can't just say the B82 is a perfect alternative without knowing the loadings on the buses (especially at school hours) and the frequency of them. Don't forget only alternate B82s operate to Coney Island. They do not come frequently at all.
