Posted by FYBklyn1959 on Sun Jul 12 21:09:22 2009 Just a quick overnight trip, didn't go to any attractions. First few buses were parked in the rear parking lot of my hotel. Outfit called Discover USA tours. As I was leaving, saw the RTS loading pax in the front lot. Baby Gillig never budged from its spot. From the hotel room  MCI ???? (I haven't been able to keep up w/ the MCI model #s after the MC-12)  Closer view   RTS pulling in Tuesday afternoon    Seeing the number 9308 on the roof--I was thinking that maybe that was ex-Long Beach Transit 9308. But LBT 9308 was an RTS-08 (with the requisite ugly flat front end), and the bus pictured is obviously an -06. Anyone know the origin of this bus?   Lonely Baby Gillig.
