As You can see, the operator have the protective plexyglass lowered. If he chooses to, he can raise it from the inside for added security.  This photo here shows the drivers partition on a SF MUNI Neoplan. The operator here chooses to leave this one open. Perhaps this is a kickback line or never had problems. The operator  Although I dont have a picture, LA Metro is testing a drivers partition door on NABI 40LFW # 7147. This particular partition is a single piece partition ( top half - bulletproof plexyglass ; bottom half- hard metalish material ) that is lockable from inside the drivers compartment. These compartments do not instruct passenger and curbside mirror views. |
