I saw it signed up as a C while running down 8 Av; I don't remember if it was in service or not. It was a short train, but hard to forget because it was one of the only times in that era when you saw the big navy C bullet. Other than that time, the only time in those days that I saw a similar bullet was one day on an R44 that I suppose got pressed into C service on the fly.Of course, nowadays the big C bullet is the usual...although even that might be changing soon, or so we believe. |
