In the linking of the R62's, the low digits are 1 and 6. He is in car 1576, an end car, but he could be at the other end conceivably. Doubtful since the "post" behind him is scratched. So he is either operating (don't see a brake handle so he's not), at a c/r position, or in the rear cab (probable). If he were impersonating an employee or not with the non regulation shirt and regulation vest, the rulebook reads that even an off duty or deadheading employee is not to ride in an unoccupied cab. The only people allowed in cabs of a train in passenger service are the operating crew and supervision. |
