I do not read the NYT, and in fact do read the Bible daily, (several times a day in fact). Is there anything I said that was in conflict with what is said in the Bible. I said that children must feel comfortable speaking with their parents about their own sexuality, and that parents must feel comfortable with the subject, even if they do not have all of the answers. Nothing will tear a family apart faster than closed doors and confrontations over a subject (human sexuality) with which a young person may be struggling. |
