Portland Zoo train: look familiar? |
|
Posted by r17-6599 on Mon Oct 18 22:45:49 2010 One of three trains operating at the Portland, Oregon zoo. The Aerotrain is a replica of the GM built train of the latter 1950's. It was commissioned for the Oregon Centenary.AFter it was placed out of service after the celebration ended it was stored away. During the construction of the Portland Zoo, plans were to have a train operating. This one train was picked, along with the diesel shown here and a steam train. Njoy jrc |
