I have seen those around this past year. They open the "wrong doors" at each station. Some have even had paper signs stating: test train. |

Employee or non employee, you can't run an R160 on the (G) with un-trained crews, The Line is going to mostly R46's, Its common sense, the QB has been a hell hole 3 days in a row this week because of those fucking R160's. |

How do you know with any degree of certainty that G crews have not been qualified on R-160s? If R crews have been qualified on them it is highly likely that all crews operating in the Queens Division have been similarly qualified. |

If it does the (G) is going to be a mess, Jamaica has the right amont of R46's and they have those 26 R32's,The Only way to see an R160 on the (G) if you have extra (E) and (F) crews that are R160 trainned, The (G) is in Plan to get them, I got that R160 (G) out of Luck last year and It was Only in service during the Night and it did a round trip and got layed up at CI, If anything if they need exras they will use the R32's or borrow some R68's from CI. |

I vaguely remember a time in 2002 when they ran this "mixed bag" of consist on the G during a weekend Court Square - Smith-9th (no CTL) G.O.:1 R-46 "AA-AA" consist 2 R-46 "AB-AA" consist Several regular "AB-BA" consists 1 R-68 4-car consist, apparently from the Franklin Avenue Shuttle and 1 10-car R-32 consist (my motorman's put-in from Jamaica Yard) And that Saturday, I worked with the R-46 AA-AA, AB-AA, the R-68s and my second train of that day was with the 10-car R-32s, which I loved the most!! |

I rerember That, That was the shit, I really don't care whats out there, I hope they put an R32 on the (G), But It would be Smart to put R160's on the (G) but if you don't have Trained crews then they are not going to waste time, Jamaica would just take all the (V) equipment mainly R46's with 2 trainsets of R32's, If there are any R46's in ave X yard they will take some of the R46's out of that yard and they will take some R46's off the (R). That's how they do it, I did this GO everytime it happend, Its the same shit. |

Yeah I remembered the R-44 running on the F. It definitely had a lot to do with the F's going to Euclid. May have been used to fill in the gap in the schedule. They sent the R-44 back to Pitkin after the G.O. that weekend. Correct me if I'm wrong though it's been awhile. |

I really don't care if the R160's do pop up on the (G), If it pops up during this GO it will only be Late Night, I Know to this day that the Foamers are still hating the fact that I was the ONLY Railbuff to even step foot on an R160 (G) in passenger service, The cars were 9177-9182, But The (G) IS slated to get R160's, As long as the pull out an R32 I really don't give a shit what the put on the (G). |
