Can't pass up this NJT chance |
|
Posted by Neil Feldman on Sun Apr 4 18:26:19 2010 Well, here I am in South Jersey, and what can be a perfect fit? Well yes heading over to the ACL, and got there just in time for the meet between the ACL Local to AC, and the ACES train headed from AC to NY-Penn Station, so good enough thank god that the P40's are back and the usual consists are back, so got it, and here to share it.Of course I'm back in Long Island now after those 3 hours of driving, but what a way to make my Saturday before my brother in law got married. And a question, was it the 4802 that was involved in that fire???? Comments and answers appreciated! Thanks, Neil |

Interesting to know that the ALP was still powered with the P40 supplying the HEP since the Pans were down on it. You can hear the sound from the motor which made it quite interesting to say the least. I'm wondering if the new ALP46A's will be used for this service when they are delivered? |
