This happened in a tunnel near the Federal Triangle Station on January 13, 1982. The crash occurred shortly after Air Florida Flight 90 crashed into the 14th Street Bridge. In the Air Flordia crash video you can still see overhead wires up for the electrification on the Long Bridge to the RF&P's Potomac yard. |

In the Air Flordia crash video you can still see overhead wires up for the electrification on the Long Bridge to the RF&P's Potomac yard.Conrail was still running electric locomotives on their freight trains in and out of Potomac Yard in 1982.
