Just reminded me, I have to draw the R160s yet among numerous historical cars. I don't know why I didn't draw the NYCT versions of the R160 when I drew the Jersey version of the R160.

I'll say. That's just as bad as NJT's signage for trains on the Boonton and Morristown Lines. "HOBOKEN", "HACKETTSTOWN", "MOUNT OLIVE", etc says nothing about what line the train is going down.

They need departure screens in Dover so people know which line the next train is going down.

All right, I'll admit I was wrong. When I saw about 5 sets of R160's on the F on Friday the alarm went off in my head.

Facts are facts: there are still a lot of us not qualifed yet. We are being qualified on a weekly basis in a 3 day class but they can only take so many at a time as our job has to be covered by someone else. Refresher courses, all day medical visits, and track safety courses at the same time take others away.

I wonder if they are running today and perhaps laid up last night? As I said earlier, Euclid Ave. reporting C crews cover the F as well and these guys have no reason to be qualifed. The dispatcher may have to look for a crew to jump ahead if an R160 is coming. If the are 2 in a row or you have 2 or 3 C crews leaving back to back to back, he may have nobody.

Another neat thing is that next weekend, not only is this G/O in effect, but A trains are running to Rockaway Park, allowing for "frequent" full-length train service to this part of the system which usually sees only half-length trains.

I'll see about tackling all of this on Saturday.

You are unbelievable. He made a simple statement stating that was potential for a certain future event to happen. There was NOTHING wrong with it. His reasoning was sound. But he was attacked by certain people because they felt he was completely wrong, being annoying, and spamming the board. Even if the event did not occur, he would not have been wrong, since he only stated that there was potential for it, not that it would definitely happen. But as it turns out, the event did happen, 100% justifying his post, and showing that he successfully alerted the board to a nice piece of railfanning. Now, instead of the person(s) who attacked him coming out and apologizing, we have have you, a typical anti-Chipper apologizer, trying to still say that Chipper was wrong and still is wrong. What is the f*cking problem? The guy did good. Admit it.

Depends on who was the offender.

If it was Bill from Maspeth, he only doubted Chipper's statement because he believed that there are not enough crews being R160 qualified since Euclid is C line based. He deserves a free pass. Nothing he said attacked Chipper as being wrong and or a know-it-all.

If it was anyone else making a smart-assed response, NO FREE PASSES AND NO FREE NJT TICKETS!!!.
