PICS: Last Comet I Set, Silverliner IVs, and a PCC in a building |

Posted by Ken S. on Sat Feb 28 22:11:14 2009 The PCC in a building. The Silverliner IVs, all taken at Market East. I was hoping to find a Silverliner II or III before I had to catch the 551 back to AC.    The last set of Comet Is in service.  Not the best shot, but it was very rushed.  |

Are you sure they're down to 1 set? A little birdie told me there are two, a three car set which was quite active on the M&E/Boonton line last Friday and one 5 car set which normally runs during the peak hours on the ML/BCL. Hunting down soon-to-be-gone commuter equipment isn't the same as subway stuff. Guess wrong and you're screwed. |
