Posted by kp5308 on Sat Jan 17 22:17:00 2009 Four of us went to Prospect Park for today's special. Good positioning on the platfom for all, with the local cops approval. Pilot train comes & goes:  After this a Federal Agent swoops in & directs the locals to move ALL of us, maybe 500 or so, to the OTHER SIDE of the tracks. The yellow tape goes up & we're stuck with cops all along the platform in front of us!! NOBODY was happy....   Back to the good spot for the cleanup train:   INcredible |

What time did they tell you to move to the outbound side? At Norwood they told us about 11:45 when the train was expected any minute. Fortunately for me it took me time to pack up and then I asked if I could just leave my video cameras running, they said yes. Right about that time the headlight appeared.Sometimes having a whole bunch of equipment works out, rarely, but sometimes. |

I sat at the tape line for the shot of the engines, then rolled onto the platform to do the best I could with the Georgia 300. |
