Posted by davesgcr on Mon Nov 3 15:18:26 2008, in response to Re: Halloween On the Subway, posted by R PansePCC on Sun Nov 2 16:32:33 2008. Family and I went down at 7pm via Astor Place and back via 14th ?Union after a great few hours.the atmosphere was surreal - especially the recreation of one train of the Warriors and the Baseball Furies ! (I asked them how they were intending to get back "all the way to Coney") In passing - this great and fun event had rather a lot of men dressed up as women ! (even on the subway) - is this a once in a year release to allow unfettled obsessions in a fun environment ? Nothing wrong really as dressing up as a 1960's air hostess - not that I do it myself ! Maybe if I eer get there again I can go as a BMT 1930's motorman... |
