No, no pics, and it wasn't in service, but around 12:55pm, I saw an R160 on the S/B D line at 47-50th, making a scheduled stop and having all of its signs displaying readings for the D to Coney Island route.

I remember about a year back someone sighted a burn test on the (B). Nothing so far has come out of that.

Well, yesterday while passing by northbound on the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens, I noticed a trainset of R-160Bs in Jamaica Yard. I wonder who in the Queens Division is getting them!! (Please NOT the E!! Would be sad to see the R-160B become a haven to the homeless!! Hopefully it will be the F!!)

Both of these sightings may have been school cars. There are classes out there now.

I think the applicable term is "simulated stop"

Either a burn-in or schoolcar can make a station stop in non-revenue by a: opening the doors on the wrong side (typical of a NTT burn-in test) or b: not opening the doors at all (typical of a schoolcar.)

I didn't mean the ones on the Q; I meant the one seen on the D, and the other one seen in Jamaica Yard. (When I qualified on the 160's a year and a half ago, we went down the whole F line).
