Not to be a prude, but didn't you ask this question in another post you created? Starting another post will not get you your answer but it will cause you to be flamed and disliked by certain posters. Be patient. Once we know, you will know.Stay tuned! Lord Vader |

I think it should run on the W instead. (Yes, I know the W doesn't run on Sundays). However, it is easier to relay the train at both Whitehall and at Ditmars than at QBP. Also, if they really wanted to, the train could end at QBP and operate to Whitehall St. Not only that, but the train runs via the Broadway Line-it will carry many Manhattanites if it was on there. Also, it'd go outdoors if on the W.You can't really get any pictures at any of the underground stations. Who made the decision to go this route anyways? Will it run on that route only for all the Sundays in December? If so, then it is very poor decision making if you ask me. And of ALL the lines that they could run on, they chose this? UGH!!! My towel has been thrown! |

Too bad they don't have enough R9's to run 3 or 4 trainsets. It would be great to see the 9's ruling the road on Queens Boulevard. |

Posted by Lord Vader on Wed Nov 28 22:20:01 2007, in response to Re: Vintige Trains, posted by Bee Flexible #823 on Wed Nov 28 21:55:41 2007. Take it easy, take it easy. Last time, the Arnines did a Broadway Local from 57 St to Whitehall. A BMT Route, bah. A run from Queens Plaza to 2nd Ave is good, 100% IND. I wouldn't recommend the Ditmars-Whitehall run because remember, these are vintage trains and could konk out any time. Too much mileage. The Train of Many Colors is different for the fact that we still have smees running and spare parts for them. Arnine parts are near impossible to get. Just enjoy the ride on them because at least, you'll get a nice run in the 53 St Tubes. Wanna throw the towel, your loss. Besides, I'm sure that's just one of a few possible routes. You still have 207 St to WTC or 145 St to 2nd Ave or dare I say it, Court Square to Smith-9 Sts.Vader |

It's better than nothing.....The Vintage Cars won't get trampled on as much running on 6th Av as a shortened V in disguise, it doesn't sound bad to me. Would it be ok to minimize wear and tear on the cars? Just one man's opinion... -Stef |
