CNN is reporting live about this now.They say it's affecting the (E)(D) and (V) trains on the East Side of Manhattan. I think that's a mistake; they must be talking about the (4)(5) and (6). NY1 reports no transit delays, but says there are power outages in the South Bronx between Yankee Stadium and the Triborough Bridge, and police activity. |

Also, the MTA is reporting sporadic power outages on the 4, 5, 6, E and V subway lines in Manhattan, and the D line in the Bronx. |

WNBC 4 reports the Bruckner Power Station in the Bronx has experienced a problem, and it's causing a rolling blackout effect in the Bronx, which is also affecting the subways. Channel 4 says the (4)(5)(6)(E)(V) and (7) lines are affected. |

LOL FWIW, it now reports that MNR service is restored.MNR Service restored - running normally. Subway Service on 4 5 6 D E V returning but with extensive delays. Allow for extra time and if possible, stagger your commute. Bridges & Tunnels: operating normally. LIRR not affected by outage.
