Reclaimed water is used by the Miller Brewing Company in Irwindale, California to make their beer. I don't see them advertising that on the label! |

Nice shots! That looks like that same stretch of road that was having all those accidents. I seem to remember a video of a pickup meeting an LRV somewhere near there. |

I'd love to know what their definition of reclaimed water is. The stuff I know of is called Grey water, or maybe it was brown, meaning it's non-potable. Non-drinkable. |

It comes from the same place, but our reclaimed water is potable. It's just not supplied to residents for drinking water AFAIK, but that could have changed. |

How long are the TRE trains, however? GO Transit (which runs very similar trains, sans workstations) runs a minimum of five-car trains. |

E180 has island platforms.Anyway, a Bronx Express from 3rd Avenue to E180th is just as good. Actually, it's better than a Flushing Express substitute, since the Flushing Express still has a RFW! |

Is that a rhetorical question? IIRC you were there not that long ago. I've seen your pictures at nycsubway.org.I was just there a couple of weeks ago. I think that the bi-level TRE trains that I rode at rush hour were only 2 cars. Not to mention that they're practically free. Day passes for the commuter rail were only $4! They did operate some of those single level trains. I saw two sets and they were both 3-cars. It looked like there were standees on at least one of those, but there were seats for everyone on the two trains that I rode. The cars on my trains were maybe 75-85% full. |
