Posted by salaamallah@hotmail.com on Wed Jan 17 04:56:30 2007 .........if anyone knows thankz ..........BNSF Santa Fe LOCOMOTIVE # 2424 question ... photographed it under lacmta ...el segundo nash street green line station cant find the make of the locomotive think its a GP38 looks similar to EMD GP35_BNSF_2563 but i could not find an identification for this locomotive any information anyone can dig up would help ID this unit !! if you can thank you very much !! |

My understanding is that the GP30U's also saw leases for passenger service recently ... Caltran or whatever's up north of you there ... that's why I went for the answer here in the ON topic area since they've done PAX service lately.
