Posted by irtredbirdr33 on Sat Nov 23 13:25:14 2024 Tuscarora Almanac for November 231904 – from The Book of First Runs The IRT Lenox Avenue Line is extended from 96th Street-Broadway to 145th Street-Lenox Avenue. 1942 – from The Book of Last Runs This is the last day of operation of the Canarsie Shuttle trolley line. These cars ran along the former rapid transit right-of-way between the Rockaway Parkway subway station and the Canarsie Shore. 2003- from The Book of First Runs The PATH World Trade Center terminal in lower Manhattan re-opens after having been closed since September 11, 2001. The first run was made the very last train to leave the terminal on that date. It was headed up by PA-4 800 with 843 carrying the markers. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
