The opening segment ran along the Bowery and Fourth Avenue between Prince Street and Union Square. This line evolved into today’s Harlem Line which runs to Wassaic, New York. Tuscarora Marine Almanac for November 15 1941 – from The Book of Last Runs The Jersey Central Railroad discontinues ferry service between Jersey City, New Jersey and West 23rd Street in New York City.
