I heard only that there is a commemorative train for Saturday to Greenport

It is a private car for the ticket holders on a train of M-3’s from Jamaica to Ronkonkoma and then diesels from Ronkonkoma to Greenport with drumheads on the ends of each. Then a ceremony in Greenport commemorating the 1st train to Greenport on July 27,1844.
Check the LIRR’s One Day Getaways on its website
The private car is sold out.
