Posted by irtredbirdr33 on Mon Jul 8 10:10:25 2024 Tuscarora Almanac for July 8 1931 – from The Book of First Runs The new cars for the INDependent Subway are tested in passenger service on the No. 4 Sea Beach Line of the BMT. The consist of the first train was 214-211-208-207-384-387-385-381 (All R-1’s). Testing continued until November 27 when the cars were returned to the IND via carfloat. I know the cars came from the 207 IND float....but where did they land it get into the BMT? 39th Street Brooklyn SBK? |
