R211 4256 is the car Kawasaki Heavy built at it main production plant in Japan.
As we have seen, this particular car was showcased to the American public as "the R211",with a different front door.
Narrow window with twist locks on the outside.
My question is to anyone in the know..
Will this car be included in the overall contract, and be delivered to the MTA as part of the fleet...or is it strictly a demo version...has already been dismantled.
It would be a shame to put all effort in producing a full railcar,then destroy all of that work.
So,anyone know what I'm referring to?
