Here's the link to the Newest Images link at nycsubway.org. Remember though, that the photos get pushed back as Dave the webmaster adds more photos. Right now they are on the first few pages, but if he adds more soon, you may have to scroll to the next page or so, they go chronologically as he adds them.

The Central Branch is single track and never was electrified till this day.

I meant the abandoned Central Branch west of B tower. That was electrified, around Clinton Rd station, ,Meadowbrook, Salsbury Plains, etc.

Haha. Oh sorry.

You have to right click on the photo you want to post, and click "properties". Then highlight the link and click "copy".

Then paste the link in this formula:

<img src="http://www.whatever the link is.com">

make sure to add the quotes, and copy it exactly.

And to use ecape sequences properly, you need to enter it like this.

&amp;

The code above produces an ampersand (&).

Note the semicolon at the end. You can type all sorts of symbols in this manner.

£ΣΔΠπ€¥ÞÉм¾¢

Remember that they're case-sensitive.

Frank, what you are doing wrong is that you are using the url of the page as opposed to the photo. You have to right click on the photo, click properties, and then copy and paste that into the formula. You did it right other wise.

This is the proper address for the photo:
http://images.nycsubway.org//i43000/img_43437.jpg

You used the page url, which won't work:
http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?43437

Impressive! If I recall correctly the low cinder platform was on the north side of the single track. I'd say it was maybe two cars long and started essentailly at the main St. crossing.
