Why do they have GMTX locomotives? Do the RDCs have to be in neutral? Is the pullman a sleeper? Did the lounge car require extra fare? |

The line to pick up tickets went out to the sidewalk on Harding Highway. The 11 AM train departed 20 minutes late because of the extended time needed to board all the passengers. |

The lounge car is a cafe car; my bad. Saturday's trains and today's trains from Tuckahoe, Cape May County, are short out-and-back trips geared to kids' short attention spans with no amenities in the special cars. On the longer regular trips, round trips between Tuckahoe and Richland, snacks and soft drinks are provided and extra fares are charged.Pullman VISTA VALLEY is an observation lounge. The RDCs were in neutral. Tony leased the former PRSL Geep because it was PRSL. I don't know why he leased the two Geeps, but I speculate that keeping the PRR GP9 and CNJ GP7 in operating condition became too time consuming. |
