So would the Lo-V trailers have been rider cars in trains of motors?
would the work motors have been AB's?
any record of the Lo-V trailer car numbers?
Thanks in advance!

At one point in the early sixties there was something like 200 Lo-V's in work service in various roles. BY comparison not that many AB's went into work service.

The cars numbers of the trailers are as follow: 4536,4544,4549,4814,4816,4826,4829,4830,4852, 4873.

Thank you for the list of car numbers!
When I began to get very interested in the subway (around 1964, joined ERA a year or so after that), and for a few years forward (to 1969-early 70s), I also saw quite a few Lo-V's in work service, mostly laid up on center tracks weekdays and early evenings, or in a yard on fan trips.

The skirts or flanges on the Lo-Vs were almost identical to those on the C type el cars and many railfans nicknamed those Lo-Vs “steel C types."
