at the end of the day, some people are born with an inherent fundamental right to live and work under US law, while other people must "earn" the right to exist through a process that is functionally impossible to complete, and this double standard is a form of bigotry that no civilised society should be willing to tolerate.

In short, if I was born with the inherent right to live and work in the US, then the right to live and work in the US must be a fundamental human right, and denial of that right to millions of people is a crime against humanity.


You see, this is where you are mistaken.
Some people are BORN as US citizens and others are not.
Those who are not born here have no right to come here.
The do have a right to submit their documentation and to apply for admission.

Admission to the United States does not put you on a track to become a citizen. That requires further steps. A person may enter as a worker with the intention of returning to their own country. They are not the same as those who wish to enter with Citizenship in mind. We might let "workers" in more readily than those who seek citizenship.

The right to live in the United States is NOT a human right.

Actually, if you are a natural born citizen of the US such as being physically born in the US or one of its territories or deriving citizenship from a US citizen parent, then living in the US IS a human right!

See, that's exactly what I meant when I said you memorize talking points and recite them on cue. You learned to say those exact sentences (with some degree of fill-in-the-blank) and you learned the specific scenarios in which you are expected to recite them, but you don't have the slightest clue what they actually mean.

I guess I was wrong. You can't think, and nothing can persuade you to learn how. You can only recite talking points you memorized but don't understand.

Maybe you are trying to simplify.

It cannot be done for any infraction you commit after receiving citizenship, not even murder. It can only be done if the original application for citizenship can be shown to be fraudulent, and therefore the original granting of citizenship was null and void.

False equivalence. Numerous tunnels have been built under the Mexico-U.S. border wall by drug smugglers. I doubt that the drug smugglers are Hamas members

Not false equivalence. Terrorism is terrorism whether smuggling drugs, people or bombs. Nice try, though. And there are some disturbing affiliations those drug/smuggler gangs have anyhow; look them up.
