But, if you took a look at the YouTube video, the train literally CRAWLED the entire run. Probably stuck behind a regular Q. Plus had to deal with R179 testing on the Brighton line and a whole bunch of construction around Sheepshead Bay. |

I doubt that they would have been on the N since they didn’t have the proper signs for it. I did have a train of R-10s one day for a midday trip on the B to 57 St even though it didn’t have 57 St readings. The north motor was 3138 the one with the vents in the side door windows. |

The R-10 is a unique car in that it was the only SMEE car ever built with pneumatic door engines like the R1-9 cars. All the cars built afterwards had electric door engines. So the sounds of the R-10 are like no other car that ever ran in the NYC subway system. |
