WRM finally got Car #1258 moving under it's own power.My friend said, Western Railway, Rio Vista, got the MUNI Boeing moving under its own power last weekend. Amazing....these cars are the same age as the Septa K CARS, yet they have been retired for 20 years. We all know the story of the ill-fated Boeings, troublesome from the start, both in Boston and San Francisco. People blame it on a bad design. 1258 1258-1 |

Yes, It's little over a one hour ride from downtown San Francisco. I was up there quite a few times when I was able to visit San Francisco with my transit loving friends. We would rent a car and drive to Rio Vista. |
