That's not conservative at all, nor a free market. That's cronyism.Oh, so you support government regulations to protect consumers and break up monopolies? Wow. I actually agree with you. When was the last time you saw something labeled "Made In Singapore" in the USA? Today. I'm looking at it right now. |

Caught with 2 illegal guns? = Drug trafficking -> Death penalty.I can't think of any liberals who support the death penalty or the Drug War (or any foreign version thereof), or, for that matter, needlessly harsh criminal penalties for anything, so this belongs under "conservative extremes." Except for gun control, which belongs under "bipartisan." Criticize the government? Jail That's conservative. I can't think of any liberals who oppose free speech. |

Wrong. The TSA is already there.I found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! randyo is the one who said the TSA was gone (wrong), and AlM was the one who was originally wrong by saying that what Amtrak does keeps the TSA away! Though it seems like he is explaining what SelkirkTMO says, it seems he agrees with him. |

I will look into this further.I have successfully looked into it. NECROPOST -- Re: TSA Screening at Penn Station Today (1322913) I thought maybe I was wrong, and the next few times I observed passenger screening at the gates at NYP, it did in fact appear to be Amtrak Police employees. But today, right now, at Tracks 9/10, there IS in fact a TSA screening operation underway, as we speak. The peeps had big TSA letters on the back of their uniforms. So there. I'm not crazy. |

And that's what people seem not to realize. There is also the matter of Madison Square Garden also being there. That is an iconic building ("The World's Most Famous Arena") that would possibly be the real target in such. |

It destroys the viability of 7th Ave as a through avenue.2. It destroys the viability of 8th Ave as a through avenue. 3. Sometimes it's raining and you have lots of luggage. 4. There's no open curb space on the cross streets. Other than that, nothing. |

Of course, those are extremely valid reasons. In the case of 3: Sometimes it's raining. That's inconvenient even without luggage. |
