Capital Rail Constructors the consortium building phase II of the N route Silver line has redesigned their web site. The below rendering of the station at Washington Dulles International Airport is in the masthead of the site. There are two things wrong in the rendering. Name them.

One of the obvious ones is whose railroad do they have running up there? Don't recognize the railcars. :)

Let's just say there 'suppose to be' 7k cars.

That picture has to be from either Europe, or Australia, if it was the US the cars in the lanes closest to the 'viewer' would be coming towards the viewer, not heading away.

The road is the north side of Saarinen Circle, the picture is looking to the northwest. Traffic is correctly traveling counter clockwise around the Circle.

The cars depicted in the rendering are suppose to be 7k cars.

AEM-7AC #901 pointed out the most obvious errors, Single cars berthed on the inbound platform. 7k cars only operated in 4 car sets.

The layout of the doors and windows of the cars is wrong, windows to wide doors to narrow.

Other errors I noticed after making the post.

Single car berthed on inbound platform has no cab side windows.

The small squares between doors and windows is the area where the M metro logo was in the original 7k car graphics package. The production graphics package only has the logo on the cab end of the cab cars, disco ball M logo.

No destination sign boxes.

Parapets in the garage to low not preventing vehicles from driving off and crashing to the ground.

Guardrail on left side of road on wrong side posts.

Here's what it looked like before the contractor started removing the trees from the station site:

Isn't the station going to be at ground level?

Elevated to allow the tracks to fly over the roadways. It is the only elevated station in Phase II. Post about the design of the station at Dulles Airport.

The alignment shown above is slightly different then the alignment that will actually be built.
