Jamaica, and only certain tracks at that, are the ones I remember being a problem in 1975. GP40's have that dynamic brake blister, which could be a problem.The Super Steels are not exactly short in height taking full advantage of 14'6", boxy profile, and flat roofs. |

GP38 pulling C-1's looked inches taller than they, so likely 15'4" as well, but a narrow long hood.As I said in another post, the dynamic brake blister could be a problem with the GP40, or however the various versions have been customized over the years. |

One of the old ex-WM power packs, either 608 or 609, rebuilt into an HEP 480v AC power car.Sometime later, they converted it back to 650v output for the regular push-pull trains.
