That was another one I was all over back in the Gonerail days that stuck to my mind for all the fun that one was. I rarely remember unit numbers, but the ones I had to beat with a stick DID ... stick. :)8098 was one of those. Heh. |

My own two sentimental favorites are the Erie and Lackawanna units, because I grew up in a town on the Erie, during the Erie-Lackawanna days so what I knew was basically the Lackawanna livery.You would think dark olive-green would come off as drab, but somehow it doesn't, at least not when it's fresh and shiny. :-) |

IMHO PRR's best locomotives were the GG1 and E44.Further nit picking along the same line; NKP never bought any GEs. |
